Perth and the big toys

Yesterday sunset at the main beach of Perth.

We put a new clutch in the Ford Pickup. It was tricky because they had no tool to center the clutch.

Few days ago the fireman just close the road, 20km south of Perth, in front of me. A big bushfire just start and grow fast because it was very windy. The fire still burn, few people died and 14 houses burned jet. They use helikopters to put water on the fire.

Thats a cool Valiant. I never saw this cars before.

In some backjards and Garage I found a lot of big Toys :) This is a sandbuggy with a 3.3L , 6 Zylinder Holden engine. The gearbox and he rest of the suspension is from a VW Beetle.

Next day I drove the truck to the port Fremantle, and we put with the kran the second engine in this Boat. The boat have two 190 PS Petrolengines. I rebuild one starter and bouth engines are running now! The three owners bought the boat for 2000 bucks and spend a year to repair it from time to time. Today evening I will find the "Elektrik Ghost" (Kurzschluss)

This old Dodge-Truck is realy fun to drive. Like in the old days: No Power Steering, max.75
Km/h, Overdrive, noisy, smelly.....I like it!

We just bought this little "vibrator-roller", also ne vibrierende Walze. Hab ich wieder was zu reparieren.

Drink some beer with some new friends. But nobody drike Foster here. My nick name is now twobeers, got it? Half an hour later there was a good barfight, but this is not realy usual here.
