Way back to Perth

Some cars are made for the Outback, some are not.

First time we´ve boggt on ower way to the "Alkimos" wreck. People told us there is a ghost. But this must be a diving ghost because you see only a little bit of the wrack anymore.

Thats bobby the bobtail. The little bluetongue dragon.

Back at Mike & Inge´s Place. There is no fun without welding! Specially if the hot metal drop on your skin. First the exhaust, second the frame at the front.

Best place for a beermeeting.

Waterpump

Were the hell is the angel :) After a bushfire it look like this. But the green come fast again.

Some colours in the bush.

Cangaroo often look like this near the street. They call it "Roadkill" here. You can bye dry meat with the same name at the petrolstation. But this taste realy good!

In the North

Roads like in the old days. Straight to the horisont.

Big spiders look like Aua.

Thats a cave with a lot of bees. Few minutes later a cangaroo jumps in the site of the parkt car?!? I was sitting on the roof of the car and nearly fall down by laughing. We think cangaroo just stupid, but Australiens told us some are blind. Who knows....

A big piece of coral on the beach.

Thats why I´m here: beautyful Sandtracks.

Who is the bait (Bait=Köder) I(in Water) ask Kon(on Land) if it is a shark. He says it was just a little Dolphin. I think he dont know.

Time to go snorkling.

Our little House in Green Head.

I love the Macro of the Digicam.

"The Pinacles" Stones look like ..... The Australien Stonehenge.

Australien familiy weekend.

After we lower the pressure of the tyres we cross few dunes and drove on the beach to Wedge.

We visite a german couple on the way to the Pinacels in the North. They have a nice selfmade House. Thanks for "full-Hotel-Service" Mike and Inge!!!

This is the way to go.... Put big Tyres on a beetel and you have the perfect Sandcar. And the car can swim!!!

The Farm

Today we drove back to Perth. Later we bring this beautiful Toyota Hilux to the farm. The plan is one week in the north and another week at the farm. We will see....

Now the front of the house look like this. Konrad finished the staires.

Often the animals are to fast for a foto. Like Kangaroos, green Birds, little reptiles. But you see them "sleeping" at the road.

...drive it back to the farm.

OK, maybe you dont get the TÜV for the first time but it look not to bad. Get a Car and Starter kabels, and...

Next day I had another walk in the wwods. And guess what I´ve found : Yes, a Dodge Lorry from the 50-60!

Sometimes we go swimming in the little lake.

Then we put some wood on the lorry. Its very fun to drive the yellow dozer. The play of the steering weel is one turn around. I´ve to fix this!

It was raining one hole night. This happens not often in this time. For us it was good because not too hot.

In the morning I like to go around for a walk. I found this poor thing.

This is the guy who rolled the car. He is a dutch Cranedriver and he is happy that his old car run again.

After 2 years I start the engine and we have a very fun car for the Farm. This was after few beers driving in the dark....

But first I repair the battery system of the dozer and we just bend the roof of the Toyota back.

Another lovely mechanik I want to care. A problem here is, that they dont realy care about this things. They drive until it break. Thats the reason why I run with my greasegun around.

Here is somthing for me to play. A rolled HJ60. The same Car I drive in Germany.

A part of the house. The Kitchen with Power from a Solar Panel or a generator. No running water.

Everywere tonns of wood laying around. Sometimes people from the farm cut and sell it. The wood ist different from that we know. This here is fucking heavy shit, mate. (So ungefähr würde es der Australier ausdrücken :)

On the next day Konrad start to finish his house. His house because he build this big thing few years ago.

Arrive at the farm. Take a beer and shut up :)

The first Gravelroad for me in AUS. Long Time I wait for this feeling. The adventure start.

Be careful if you see this bumper! He cant and dont want stop fast.

19.12 200km Way to the Farm. Remenber all the time: Left Hand Drive!

Heute haben wir 150 Liter Benzin in beide Tanks gefüllt und Essen/Bier gekauft. Morgen fahren wir südlich zu einer Farm. Werden aber am 22.12 zurück nach Perth kommen da Markus ne Party macht. Also bis denne....

Hier gehen wir manchmal morgens baden und abends Sundownwatching and party and getting pisst. (heist sich betrinken)
"West Coast ist the best Coast" sagt der Australier gern. Weil hier alles sooo viel besser als an der East Coast ist.
